Kelsey Ferguson - 2006 Girls Coach

Kelsey Ferguson has been on staff with the Cornell Women's Soccer team for four years now. She joined the Big Red after three years as an assistant coach at Buffalo State College. During her time in Buffalo, Ferguson was the head coach of ECNL teams at the WNY Flash Academy. Before joining the WNY Flash Academy, Ferguson spent seven years with Lonestar Soccer Club, who have competed in the ECNL, the DA and the Girl's Academy, and are one of the largest and most successful youth soccer clubs in the country.
A collegiate competitor herself, and captain, on the women’s soccer team at the University of Richmond, Ferguson also played for the WPSL’s SoccerPlus Connecticut Reds and the W-League’s Vermont Voltage, as well as the WNY Flash of the UWS.
Originally from Saranac Lake, Ferguson earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies with a minor in studio art. In 2018 she earned her Master’s degree in Sports Management. She currently holds a USSF ‘B’ Coaching License, a USSF National Youth License, and a La Liga Formation Methodology-Level 3 qualification.
Ferguson lives in Ithaca, NY with her husband, Rob Ferguson, her two children: Maxwell (3) and Mirann (1), and their dog, Bonsai.
