Playing Experience:

Professional

Upon finishing up her career at Stony Brook University, Brooke went on to play professional soccer for The Buffalo Flash (Western New York Flash) in 2009-2010. With the questionable stability of The Women’s League in the United States, Brooke found herself continuing her professional career oversees. Her first experience was in Iceland with Haukar; she tallied a total of 9 goals and 9 assists. Moving further into Europe she started playing with GBK in the Finish first division. Brooke continued to play with them another season after helping them get promoted to Naisten Liiga. She finished both seasons with a total of 34 goals and 15 assists. Brooke loved the Scandinavian lifestyle and continued her playing career in Finland with Nice Futis of Pori, Finland. Nice Futis plays in the Women’s Naisten Liiga, where she was a key player in their attacking success. She totaled 26 goals and 10 assists along with receiving MVP in her first season. After finishing her career in Europe she decided to head down under, where she signed her latest professional contract with the Peninsula Power, Australia. This was one of her most successful seasons; the team had a storybook year going undefeated by winning the premiership and playoff championship.  Brooke earned golden boot with the Peninsula Power and Football Brisbane. She finished the season with 28 goals and was nominated MVP by Football Brisbane.

Coaching Experience:

Prior to playing overseas, she was the head Women’s Soccer Coach at Bryant & Stratton College for two seasons. While home in her off-season, she was coaching the CNYFSC House program for 8 years. Brooke does a lot of personal training.  She believes the most important part of a player’s game is their technical ability. This is one of the strongest parts of her game and loves to share her knowledge and skill with the eager youth. Currently, Brooke assists with the U14 SDA girls; she has been coaching with SDA since 2013.

Extras:

Brooke has been a certified USSF official for 17 years. She loves being involved in the game and helping players in any way possible.
