Lauren Weis is a graduate of Le Moyne college with a B.A. in Spanish and a M.S. in secondary Foreign Language education.   She has been coaching soccer in Central New York for 20 years. Lauren coaches varsity girls soccer at Skaneateles high school and was the Section III class B coach of the year in 2008 and 2009. 


Coaching Experience:

Lauren is currently the head coach of SDA U9 girls, assistant coach to Josh McDonald with the U11 girls and assistant to Michael Kirmse with the U13 girls. She has been coaching with SDA (Revolution Empire, Empire United, Syracuse Football Club) since 2007. Throughout those years she has coached several age groups and has coached and directed a variety of soccer camps throughout central New York including Skaneateles, Syracuse University, Cortland and Le Moyne. She is also a member of the NYSPHSAA girls soccer committee representing  Section III Girls Soccer.

Lauren teaches high school and college level Spanish at Skaneateles High School. Teaching high school Spanish has afforded her the opportunity to travel to Spain with her students every year. She has taken her students to the Bernabéu to see Real Madrid six times and to Calderón to see Atlético de Madrid this past year. The passion for soccer seeps into pretty much every avenue of her life.

In addition to soccer, Lauren is the director of the junior golf program at Pine Grove Country Club in Camillus. She began in 1999 as a golf coach and has directed the program since 2004.
